Inner Wisdom Cards
Prior to drawing the cards in this deck, I had never considered myself an artist. I used a very old version of an art program to draw these and it had a square block cursor (that is why they have a bit of a blocky feel to the curves). At first, these were used for an online program for my website visitors, but after a number of requests for a print copy, I decided to print them.

The messages, both in the pictures, and in the card interpretations are designed to offer you much insight into your life and your spiritual path. I wish you much joy and many years of wisdom!

Thank you for choosing the Spirit Animal Cards! These cards are based on the ways and wisdom of the animal kingdom. I have illustrated each card in a way that captures the essence of the animal to me. I wish you many years of insight and wisdom from them!

About Totems – Each species of animal has a gestalt energy, or a larger totality to its inherent nature. For instance, every cat carries certain traits and behaviors that are in common with all other cats, while at the same time, having their own personal natures. A totem, is this overall, representative energy.

When you align with a totem, you are aligning with this gestalt energy and therefore able to utilize its strengths and characteristics. You can also receive guidance from the rich databanks of that particular animal group’s experience. As an example, let us say that you have just gotten a job that involves managing others, you could use the spirit of Mountain Lion to assist you in remembering how to lead others. What are Affirmations? Your beliefs create your reality. Beliefs are formed by your thoughts about your experiences. Repetitive thoughts create and sustain your beliefs. These beliefs can either empower you or limit you and this is reflected in what you attract to you. Affirmations are a powerful way to override those repetitive thoughts that do not serve you by reprogramming your subconscious beliefs.

Affirmations and the Chakras

Chakras can be seen as information centers, each chakra governing a different aspect of your reality. You hold beliefs that pertain to that aspect of reality in each of these centers. By using these cards, you are affirming the beliefs that move you forward and reprogramming the the beliefs that do not.

Ways use the Chakra Affirmation Cards

  • Draw a card everyday and work with that affirmation throughout the day.
  • Meditate and draw one as a message from that particular chakra.
  • Draw a card each month for an overall healing. Work with that affirmation daily and journal how this changes your life.
  • Separate the deck into the different chakras, pull one from each to gain insight.
  • Pull a card to gain insight into how you can assist another.
  • Get creative! There is no right way or wrong way to use them!

I have always loved fortune cookies and one day decided to make my own. But because cookies only last so long, I rolled the ‘fortunes’ up into little scrolls tied with a ribbon. Over the years, I have handed out many of these little message scrolls, to the delight of all. This deck is a compilation of these messages. I wish you many years of fun and insight from them!

This deck is designed to give you clarity into your relationships, both romantic and other types and offers guidance in moving forward.

To use them, think of the issue or area within the relationship that you would like guidance, then draw a card. Read the card and feel the colors in the picture. Trust what comes to you first thing. Do you disagree with something? Agree? Let this first response guide you through.

How the oracle works is this, type in your yes/no question, meditate on the back of the card, and when you feel ready, click the back. Read what the card says and then notice how your body reacts. This oracle is so good because it will point you to the right answer for you. Either the answer feels right and you have clarity, or the answer doesn’t feel right and that will reveal the right answer for you.

Since this oracle shows you how to listen to your own inner guidance system, you are learning what your inner voice sounds like as you are getting guidance from the oracle! This is not designed to tell you what to do, that’s your job, this is just the mirror that you bounce your knowing off of.
